A spokesman for the show on Friday confirmed the accident in which Kevin Aubin, a dancer and one of several performers who doubles as Spider-Man in the show, broke both his wrists when he was catapulted into the air — in a kind of sling-shot effect — from the back of the stage to its lip, where he landed with notable force.
Lionsgate announced today that it has picked up the U.S. distribution rights to the Miley Cyrus comedy LOL from Mandate Pictures (which is owned by Lionsgate but runs independently). The remake of the French film Laughing Out Loud co-stars Ashley Green (Twilight), Thomas Jane (HBO’s Hung), and Demi Moore as Cyrus’ mother. The film does not yet have a release date.
