To these four I say good riddance. None of them had anything special anyway, except for Munoz who does have a good voice. Some terrible people managed to get through though. Hopefully America can wise up next week.
VANCOUVER — Police said they discovered a body in a vast urban park and they believe it is the remains of missing American actor Andrew Koenig.
Vancouver police said the body was discovered about noon Thursday in Stanley Park, a location police have been searching for days since Koenig was reported missing Feb. 18 after he failed to return to California.
Vancouver police have scheduled a 8 p.m. ET press conference at the park with the Koenig family.
The discovery comes just a day after Koenig’s parents came to the Olympic host city from California to appeal for assistance in locating their son, known for his role as Richard “Boner” Stabone on the television series Growing Pains.
Walter Koenig, the man’s father and an actor himself who played Pavel Chekov in the originalStar Trek series, said his son was in the midst of a life-long struggle with depression.
On Tuesday’s episode of American Idol, Ellen Degeneres joked that she’s sitting far away from Simon Cowell because he wouldn’t stop molesting her girlie parts. Now, another source says that the real reason behind it is because they can’t stand each other. Ellen reportedly started to…
Tell me... what do you personally get out of using tumblr? I'm interested to know if there is any one universal thing that people love about the experience. Thoughts?
I use it to stroke my ego mostly. I desperately need people to like me and tell me how awesome I am…
No I started using it because I wanted to get my thoughts about film, television, music, theater, technology and the Internet out of my head and into the world. And to this day that’s still the case but my posting has definitely evolved into more of Entertainment news aggregating and commentary as well.
Tumblr is good practice in creating content and keeping up with the current discourse. While its definitely enabled my pop addiction, I’ve also become more aware of current events and things going on in the world — in real time. For me, the social aspect comes second to the content.
Tron is doing a similar, albeit smaller, thing to what Avatar did last August. A special sneak preview (most likely a new trailer) of the film will play in select Imax theaters around the globe this weekend (NY LA London Toronto and Sydney). If you’re interested tickets will be released at 4 pm, more info can be found at PitCell.com.
Taking the Avatar approach is not a bad idea, but it’s accepted knowledge that the “Avatar Day” thing didn’t work. While it propelled buzz it wasn’t worth the enormous cost.
“We look at the blogs, how people are responding to the show. We really do go online and pay attention to that stuff. We’re trying to do business differently so we can renew shows based on whether they’re good, rather than whether they happen to catch the first wave and get good ratings.”—
John Landgrad, President of FX. Somebody’s doing it right.
An interesting tell all how the FX network became home to the best comedies (It’s Always Sunny, The League) by taking an HBO/AMC approach. [A.k.a Give the artists money and freedom and stay out of it].
