Trailer: Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close - Dec 25th

Directed by Stephen Daldry, written by Eric Roth. Starring Thomas Horn, Tom Hanks, Sandra Bullock, Viola Davis, JOhn Goodman, Jeffrey Wright, and James Gandolfini. 

Kudos to Scott Rudin and Warner Bros. for taking on this film - a feel good 9/11 drama resting on the shoulders of a child actor is a huge gamble. The trailer puts it in a wondrous light but leaves the young Horn’s full talents and the cohesion of the thing up in the air. That said, the location shooting looks gorgeous and the talent collected is top notch. Is it Oscar bait or Oscar glory?
