Aubrey Plaza to star in The Hand Job

itssaturdaynightlive:

Aubrey Plaza has signed on to star in The Hand Job, a film written by Maggie Carey - who you may know as Bill Hader’s wife/creator of The Jeannie Tate Show. The announcement of Plaza’s involvement in the project comes after she participated in a staged reading of the script at the Austin Film Festival.

The Hand Job made it onto the 2009 Black List and tells the story of a Type A girl who makes a list of goals she wants to achieve before going to college, namely gaining more sexual experience.

Bill Hader, Colin Hanks and Jessica Alba were among the other actors who participated in the staged reading, but it has not yet been announced whether they will reprise their roles for the big screen.

If this is being set up at a studio, they’re going to have to change that title.
