Trailer: New Year’s Eve - Dec 9

Directed by Garry Marshall. Starring Robert De Niro, Ashton Kutcher, Halle Berry, Jessica Biel, Michelle Pfeiffer, Sarah Jessica Parker, Hilary Swank, Zac Efron, Sienna Miller, Lea Michele, Sofia Vergara, Abigail Breslin, Til Schweiger, Seth Meyers, Jon Bon Jovi, Josh Duhamel, and Carla Gugino

How many times is Hollywood going to try and remake Love Actually? This one has the large ensemble cast, segmented stories, loosely tied theme and setting but from the look of it lacks the wit and charm that makes these kinds of movies work. That and the jokes are terrible. All of it just seems pandering and dirty. Maybe because we’re in the middle of the summer right now and about as far from New Year’s Eve as possible?
