Posters: SDCC 2011: Captain America & Iron Man Assemble In Illustrated Avengers One Sheets | Latino Review

Chris Evans and Samuel L Jackson were on hand yesterday in Times Square shooting an additional scene for Captain America. Ignoring the fact the movie is going to be released July 22nd. Which is three months away. Here’s a picture.

Trailer: ‘Captain America’ - July 22nd
Directed by Joe Johnston. Starring Chris Evans, Tommy Lee Jones, Hugo Weaving, Hayley Atwell, Sebastian Stan, Dominic Cooper, Toby Jones, Neal McDonough, Derek Luke, and Stanley Tucci.
First, two things. One, skinny Chris Evans is fucking creepy. And two, the middle part of that trailer is incredibly homoerotic. Besides those two glaring facts, this trailer is pretty good. They seem to be meshing the period and super hero elements well but staying within a Marvel comfort zone. I could do without the overstated Tommy Lee Jones voiceover, but what are you gonna do. All in all, the trailer didn’t make me any more or less excited for the film than I was before seeing it.
