Put it to bed NBC.
In the pilot Rudolph and Christina Applegate were coworkers at a public relations firm, now NBC exec Robert Greenblatt is saying that Rudolph will be, “a larger-than-life talk show host, and Christina will play her producer.”
That’ll either be brilliant or terrible.
I hear that Arnett is attached to the Lorne-Michaels-produced Christina Applegate pilot that NBC has ordered up. Because of that commitment, it’s unlikely that he’d be able to sign on to star in The Office as well. This is sad for people who want to see an office run by Gob Bluth, but really, it’s tough to complain about a potential show starring Applegate and Arnett that’s being written by Parks and Rec writer Emily Spivey. We’ll see what happens, but I’m OK with having two different potential sitcoms for Arnett to star in on NBC.
