entertainmentweekly:

Don’t mess with Daniel Radcliffe, or you’ll get the Horns — he just got fitted for a pair of new appendages on the set of his upcoming movie. Here’s a taste of the plot:

Radcliffe plays Ignatius “Ig” Perrish, a less-than-angelic guy who is accused of the violent rape and murder of his girlfriend before waking up to find horns suddenly sprouting. The horns come with a wildly tempting power trip — he can induce people to tell the truth or compel people to give into his ugliest inner urges.

“To play somebody who, in the midst of a time in his life of great turmoil anyway, undergoes this horrific transformation into a devil character — it was very, very exciting,” Radcliffe told EW. No kidding!

As in the “Friend Zone.”

According to The Sun, Radcliffe and Hamm are set to star in a 4-part drama series about Russian doctors after World War 1. It would air on Sky Arts and feature the actors playing two sides of the same man.

“I can honestly say I never drank at work on ‘Harry Potter.’ I went into work still drunk, but I never drank at work. I can point to many scenes where I’m just gone. Dead behind the eyes.”

The actor will follow “The Woman In Black” with the indie film, “Kill Your Darlings.”

D-Rad gets the perfect attendance award.

Radcliffe, who had made his Broadway debut in Equus, never missed a performance throughout his entire How to Succeed run, playing all 30 preview and 315 regular performances. Tony winner John Larroquette also played his final performance Jan. 1.

Sources told me that if he were to miss, they would have canceled the performance that day. Luckily they never had to do it.

Of the Potter films? Seven, Part 2. The last one. It’s the best film, I think. Well, no, it’s the best combination of acting, directing, writing, effects … everything. I think the finest example of those in a Potter film is the last one, where they all came together. Because, you know, I think some of the coolest directorial stuff was on number three [the Alfonso Cuaron-directed ‘The Prisoner of Azkaban’], but we weren’t as good then. So I wouldn’t like you to take that one. Whereas there’s some amazing stuff that [director] David [Yates] did in the last film and now we’re slightly, you know, more up to scratch. So that would be the one that I would tell you to take with you.
