From Warner Bros. Warning: Some song titles include spoilers. (via /Film)

THR is reporting that not only are T Bone Burnett and Danny Elfman scoring the film, but Burnett will produce an accompanying disc of songs form and inspired by the film, featuring new and upcoming artists. The musical styles on said release will span many genres and concern the themes of the story - including freedom, rebellion, survival, and family.

Wait wait. Aaron Sorkin writing the book. Danny Elfman composing. Hugh Jackman starring. With lyrics from Glenn Slater and direction from Jack O’Brien.

Next up is a first reading of the script, scheduled for January. After that, Elfman estimates that the show could open in early 2012 — though we wouldn’t be surprised to see it on Broadway even sooner if the reading goes well.
