“If I drive for you, you give me a time and a place. I give you a five-minute window, anything happens in that five minutes and I’m yours no matter what. I don’t sit in while you’re running it down; I don’t carry a gun… I drive.”

“Drive-Thru” (official movie trailer)

It’s like “Drive”, except more delicious.

Own An Officially Licensed scorpion Jacket From ‘Drive’ For $160

Wear The Jacket. Be The Driver.

Vintage clothing retailer Steady Clothing Inc. is selling an officially licensed version of the infamous scorpion jacket that Ryan Gosling wears in ‘Drive’. I expected to see lots of knock-offs of this jacket around Halloween, but now you can own your own official ‘Drive’ jacket. The downside is that it costs $160s. If your badass enough to pull off this jacket without looking like a damn fool, then it’s $160s well spent.

Red Band Trailer: Drive - Sept. 16

Directed by Nicolas Winding Refn. Starring Ryan Gosling, Carey Mulligan, Byran Cranston, Christina Hendricks, Albert Brooks, Oscar Isaac, and Ron Pearlman.

If you were going based on title and the first two minutes of this trailer it would be easy to write off Drive as some Hollywood machine Fast and the Furious rip off. Then things take a stylized turn akin more to Quentin Tarantino than Vin Diesel, and you find out Refn won Best Director at Cannes and the film was nominated for the Palme d’Or. Add in this spectacular cast and it becomes one of the more enigmatic, exciting releases of the fall.
