New ‘G.I.Joe: Retaliation’ Character Posters
Paramount Pictures has released a series of new character posters for this summer’s upcoming ‘G.I.Joe: Retaliation’. While it’s not an official reboot of the ‘G.I.Joe’ film franchise, ‘Retaliation’ promises to get back to the roots of G.I.Joe and clean house of most of the things from the first film that made it an overall silly movie. Expect more military action and less laser beams, robot suits and zero Waynes brothers.
A movie that has The Rock ripping a 50. caliber machine gun off of a humvee, an actual Cobra Commander (not Joseph Gordon-Levitt with a breathing condition), a new costume for Snakeyes, and Zartan as the president of the United States is a movie I must see this summer.
‘G.I. Joe: Retaliation’ stars Dwayne Johnson, Adrianne Palicki, Channing Tatum, Walton Goggins, Ray Park, Byung-hun Lee, Elodie Yung, RZA, Ray Stevenson, and D.J. Cotrona ’G.I. Joe: Retaliation’ opens June 29th.
