Guillermo del Toro surprised the crowd at the Tron Comic Con session with an appearance and announcement that he and Disney will be rebooting The Haunted Mansion. Del Toro will produce, cowrite and possibly direct, it is said to have nothing to do with the 2006 ride-to-movie adapt with Eddie Murphy.
Apparently it’s going to be a family film but scary. I love The Haunted Mansion ride and have faith in del Toro but this sounds like a strange partnering.
