Watch: High school ‘Les Mis’ production’s “Call Me Maybe” lip dub
Yes, I’m going to post most if not all of Vulture’s Les Mis advent calendar. Deal with it.
This is 17 Valjeans all singing in their respective languages and Polish and Japanese are so hilarious I can’t even. But somehow even though the really harsh languages are moving and DO YOU HEAR THE PEOPLE SING?! DO YOU?!

Well they certainly look miserable.
Directed by Tom Hooper, Hathaway will play Fantine. She will sing.
They’re aiming for a Dec. 7, 2012 release.
24 Frames reports that the director is weighing an offer to helm a big-budget musical version of the story. Working Title, which also produced Atonement, is producing the film.
It’s about time they brought the musical version of Les Mis to the screen.
EW has learned exclusively that PBS will air the American premiere of Les Misérables 25th Anniversary Concert at The O2 on March 6. The production features Alfie Boe (Jean Valjean), Lea Salonga (Fantine), Nick Jonas (Marius), Norm Lewis (Javert), Matt Lucas (Thénardier), Jenny Galloway (Madame Thénardier), and Katie Hall (Cosette).
We’re very much looking forward to March 5, when we plan to make an epic “ONE DAY MORE” joke.
Dear Justin Beiber,
If the Jonas Bros are any indicator, musical theater is in your future.
Love, PCB
