After bumping into each other, Jimmy and Paul realize they’ve switched accents, and Paul isn’t happy about it.
Last night, Paul McCartney and Bruce Springsteen played “I Saw Her Standing There” and “Twist and Shout” in Hyde Park, before having their mics and instruments killed by the joyless police to comply with a 10:30pm curfew.
"Ashamed to be British right now. Springsteen and McCartney playing ‘Twist & Shout’ in Hyde Park and council pulled the plug cos of curfew," tweeted actor and comedian Stephen Merchant.
McCartney is in talks for a brief role, and could make a deal that would allow the series to feature his songs.

Murphy told E! that Sir Paul McCartney recently sent him a mixtape:
“The other day a package arrived at my office and I opened it up and it said ‘Mixtape From Paul McCartney.’ It was very sweet…It was a CD, I apologize. It was these amazing songs that I grew up with. And I said, ‘Is this a joke?’ It literally said ‘Greeting (sic), from Paul.’ This is a strange, strange world we live in, and it’s awesome.”
