That’s a year and a half delay for ‘Good Dinosaur.’ Not a very good sign. This also means there won’t be a single Pixar film in 2014.

Yes, all of the Pixar movies are connected through easter eggs, but this guy has come up with a grand theory of how they all share the same universe and timeline. It’s pretty insane and begins to break down if you give it just a bit of thought, but fun to consider nonetheless.
This is excluding ‘Finding Dory,’ which is the only sequel in their current development slate. Overall it’s great news, but I’m not completely opposed to sequels as long as they have enough reason story-wise to revisit the characters. They’ve proven they can make a sequel or treequel that’s worth it, so why not?

“I have waited for this day for a long, long, long, long, long, long time,” said DeGeneres. “I’m not mad it took this long. I know the people at Pixar were busy creating ‘Toy Story 16.’ But the time they took was worth it. The script is fantastic. And it has everything I loved about the first one: It’s got a lot of heart, it’s really funny, and the best part is—it’s got a lot more Dory.”
Is this a ‘Wire’ joke?
