BREAKING NEWS: the next Comedy Central Roastee will be none other than Roseanne Barr! This is very exciting since it marks the first time anyone has ever made fun of Roseanne.
The Comedy Central Roast Of Roseanne tapes in LA on August 4. The Roast will premiere on COMEDY CENTRAL on Sunday, August 12 at 10pm/9c.
Sheen is a pretty big get for the cable net and most definitely a step up from Kid Rock.
The Comedy Central Roast of Charlie Sheen will air at 10/9c on Monday, Sept. 19 — which just so happens to be the same night Ashton Kutcher makes his debut as Sheen’s replacement on Men.
Though they will air on the same night, a wise move by Comedy Central, Two and a Half Men returns at 9 pm, an hour before the roast.
Reps from Comedy Central have confirmed to Punchline that the previously announced Roast of Kid Rock has been canceled.
Guess they’ll just have to find someone else.
Not necessarily news: Comedy Central premieres the Roast of Donald Trump tonight at 10:30 pm. More interesting though is that they’re previewing a new show at 12 but not revealing what it is. I’m intrigued.
Comedy Central will roast Donald Trump for a special to air next year, the network said Thursday.
“I’ll show up to the Roast because Comedy Central is paying me a lot of money, but I’m confused as to how anybody could make fun of me,” the real estate mogul said in a statement.
The show is scheduled to tape on March 9, 2011 in New York City, and the “Comedy Central Roast Of Donald Trump” will air sometime in the spring.
