Written and directed by Joss Whedon. Starring Robert Downey Jr, Samuel L Jackson, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, and Jeremy Renner.
What a pleasantly surprising trailer. All of Marvel’s over exaggeration and pretty colors have given way to a more serious tone and it works to build up the epic feel that they no doubt are hoping for. The biggest complaint will no doubt be its reliance on Iron Man as the central figure, but when it comes down to it he may be the most interesting. Also, I love the way they handled The Hulk, by the trailer’s end you’re wondering “WTF where is the Hulk?” and then there he is. Extremely well done.
