With ‘The To Do List’ written on her chest, the ‘Parks and Rec’ actress tried to steal Will Ferrell’s “Comedic Genius” award in what may or may have not been a scripted moment.
The two struggled for the award for a few seconds until Plaza scurried off to her seat. Ferrell responded sarcastically with “Aubrey Plaza every one. Perfectly planned bit, not too long or too short.”
Jimmy Fallon and Will Ferrell introduce the new dance craze, ‘Tight Pants.’ Everybody’s talking ‘bout ‘em.
Trailer: The Campaign - Aug 10
Directed by Jay Roach, written by Chris Henchy and Shawn Harwell, starring Will Ferrell, Zach Galifianakis, Jason Sudeikis, John Lithgow, Dan Aykroyd, and Dylan McDermott.
Warner Brothers is very clever in releasing this film in August, right smack in the middle of election season. You can’t ask for better satiric timing. And as far as political spoof movies go this looks a whole lot better than Man of the Year. The trailer seems funny if a bit strained, the two gags at the end in particular. The cross bow gag having the poor fortune of invoking an identical misfire in The Five Year Engagement. Regardless, Ferrell and Galifianakis are a buffoonery dream team and though this isn’t from the creative minds of McKay and Ferrell we can hope it ends up more like Step Brothers and less like Land of the Lost.
The Playlist has posted scans from the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly, which contains this sneak peek at the upcoming comedy The Campaign. The political comedy, formerly known as Dogfight, stars Zach Galifianakis, Will Ferrell and Jason Sudeikis. So, duh, it should be really good.
