I knew there was a reason why I was watching ‘The Voice’.

I knew there was a reason why I was watching ‘The Voice’.

"Sparkle" director Salim Akil has already cast Whitney Houston in Sony’s music-themed drama, and now another Grammy winner has enlisted in the ensemble, as Cee-Lo Green has joined the cast along with Carmen Ejogo and Tika Sumpter.

This looks like an Old Navy ad and supports the claim that Jaleel White is the black Neil Patrick Harris.

Seriously, Jaleel White needs a self mocking role on a sitcom or film ASAP (and no Big Fat Liar doesn’t count).

Here are The Voice judges performing their Queen medley from last night.

Not as good as “Crazy” but worth a listen, especially if you like Christina Aguilera.

Preview Clip: The Voice judges rehearse for tonight’s live show with Queen medley.

It’s 30 seconds of “We Are The Champions” and is a bit heavy on Christina but listen for the Cee Lo harmonies towards the end.

The Voice kicks off its live episode tomorrow night at 9 pm with a judges lead tribute to Queen.

The four coaches will perform a three-song medley of such Queen standards as “Bohemian Rhapsody,” “We Will Rock You” and “We Are the Champions.”

If “Crazy" was any indication, this should be good. I would watch a show that was all Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo, Adam Levine, and Blake Shelton performing together.

Programming Note

In tonight’s show, Cee Lo and Gwyneth Paltrow will be joined by some Jim Henson Puppets — not Muppets. Don’t call them Muppets. I’ve already been scolded for this mistake. Anyway, I just saw them do their thing and it’s awesome and ridiculous and awesomely ridiculous.

Cee-Lo and Chicago mash up. This is all sorts of amazing. (via aol music)

Gwyneth Paltrow will host SNL January 15 with musical guest Cee-Lo Green. Yesterday, rumours had circulated that the pair would appear on this weekend’s SNL, but this makes a lot more sense.

There it is.

Gwyneth Paltrow and Cee Lo Might Crash SNL This Weekend | Movieline

I’m pretty sure it is happening. When she appeared on Good Morning America, it was put to her, “I know you’re doing Saturday Night Live together,” to which Paltrow replied, “Right, we’re doing that together,” before backtracking and trying to be all coy with her answer. She’s got Country Strong to promote, so I think we’ll probably see her there this weekend.

Alright then.
