It will be on at 12 am following ‘Colbert,’ and co-produced by Nerdist, Tom Lennon & Ben Garant and Funny Or Die. As per the content, Deadline reports, “The show, Comedy Central’s first midnight strip, will be formatted as a comedic panel show that will have a heavy social-media presence integrated throughout.”
In the past on his podcast, Hardwick described his Comedy Central pilot as a pop culture spin on The Daily Show and also likened it to ‘Attack of the Show.’ How much of that remains is to be seen. This will be his third on-going chat show across three different networks.
Even more interesting is it puts Hardwick in direct timeslot competition with fellow Nerdist network podcaster and friend Pete Holmes.
