I’ve been working on for the past few weeks over at my real job. It’s a bit of Facebook interactive. After you answer the five trivia questions (based on information given in the videos that precede each), you can enter to win a trip to The Playboy Club in London.
Bjork’s new album may sound good to her fans, but the real value is in its interactivity with the iPad. All of the songs on her album will have their own custom-designed app, that allow users to manipulate the songs on the device.
Sure you’ve heard of a choose your own adventure book or a choose your own adventure website, but how about a Choose Your Own Adventure Movie?
Here’s how it works: upon purchasing your ticket, you text your cell phone number to the system. Make sure to leave your phone on because during the film, someone in the audience will get a call from the protagonist. The audience member will then be called upon to make decisions for the film. Using voice recognition technology the software will recognize the viewer’s choice and lead the narrative in a new direction. Sounds more like a Disney ride than a movie, but why not?
