NBC and the TV Academy will produce a behind-the-scenes look at the Emmy Awards that will stream online.
For the first time in Emmy history, organizers are creating a concurrent companion awards coverage program consisting of backstage content.
Dubbed “Backstage Live @ the Emmys,” the show will run on Emmys.com, NBC.com and Ustream.com.
Seven cameras will be positioned in various areas backstage, capturing reactions from the stars. Viewers will see nominees and presenters preparing before going on stage, making speeches at a special “thank you camera” and in other locations.
