nerdistnews:

Chris Hardwick’s All-Star Celebrity Bowling is back and this time Team Nerdist takes on a team from NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL). Yes, it’s the NASA’s Curiosity Mars Rover team. Can the actual rocket scientists figure out how to beat the Nerdist juggernaut in a high-stakes bowling match?

Apollo 18 is not a documentary. The film is a work of fiction, and we always knew that. We were minimally involved with this picture. We never even saw a rough cut. The idea of portraying the Apollo 18 mission as authentic is simply a marketing ploy. Perhaps a bit of a ‘Blair Witch Project’ strategy to generate hype.” - Bert Ulrich, NASA’s liaison for multimedia, film and television collaborations.

I kind of love that people are dumb enough to think Apollo 18 is real. Lets not forget NASA had to issue a statement when ‘2012’ hit theaters reminding people the world isn’t going to end in 2012, so calm the fuck down.

But in all honesty, isn’t there part of you deep down inside that wishes Apollo 18 was real?

I want my money back!

Doesn’t NASA have better things to do? Such as look at the bottom of lakes for aliens?

Side note: Gattaca is one of my all time favorite movies.
